Balsamic Glazed Green Beans

I am a big vegetable lover, I usually make some every night. I often roast them in the oven with some olive oil and eat them with my proteins. Sometimes, however, I get a bit bored and I decide to jazz it up a bit. This is my favourite way to cook green beans, and I don´t do it often, so they are something I never get bored of. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

1 handful of fresh green beans

1 wheel of feta

balsamic vinegar, or balsamic glaze (glaze is a bit thicker)


wash the green beans under cool running water.

Break the tips off with you hands, or alternatively you can chop them off with a knife

Heat up a little water in a small pot, when I say a little bit, I really do mean about 15ml of water

Add the green beans to the pot and put the lid on.

Steam the beans until all the water is gone, and then add one spoon of balsamic vinegar

reduce the heat and allow the beans to absorb the vinegar.

Add in the feta wheel, crumb it into the pot, this will allow it to melt faster.

Serve hot with you favourite protein
