How to: Brown Mushrooms

Materials

  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp butter or margarine

Instructions

  • Slice your mushrooms.
  • Heat up a frying pan, but do not add any butter or margarine yet.
  • Add the mushrooms to the hot pan. Add the salt.
  • Stir the mushrooms so that they do not stick to the pan, but do not stir continuously, give them time to cook.
  • Cook until they have released water, and have browned nicely.
  • Add in the butter or margarine and stir well.
  • Serve hot.
