Vegan Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate


This drink has been my go-to in times of PMS. I do not have a sweet tooth, I always crave salty stuff like popcorn, nachos or pretzels. But of some reason I crave sweets during my PMS week, I am sure there is some science behind it, I don´t know. This drink is the perfect remedy for my bad moods and raging hormones. There is no added sugar, but the bitterness of the cocoa powder and the creaminess of the peanut butter just hits the spot for me.

Vegan Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Perfect for people with a sweet tooth, or if you´re in the middle of a PMS storm.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 3 tsp cocoa powder
  • 100 ml soy milk or a milk alternative
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Spoon the peanut butter into a microwave safe mug and melt it.
  • Once the peanut butter is melted, add in the cocoa powder and milk.
  • Stir well.
  • Add in boiling water to fill up your mug.
  • Optional: Add in a pinch of salt to counter the bitterness of the cocoa powder.
  • Sprinkle cocoa powder on top.
